Sangaj, a 8 year old boy from Rawana Village Chhajlet area of Moradabad district was losing his interest for attending school since last 1 year. Last 3 months he hardly attended school. His parents were sad due to his unwillingness in study. Sangaj's parents could not completed their study, but they wanted to send Sangaj in school to complete his study at least up to class X. He was identified with eye problem by Mr. Omraj, Field worker of CLGEI for Chhajlet area. He motivated Mr Sundar (Sangaj's father) for a free eye checkup at C L Gupta Vision Center, Chajjlate.  He came to the vision center for primary examination and was referred to C L Gupta Eye institute by the Vision Technician. Mr. Sundar (Sangaj's father) was afraid of expenses to avail treatment for Sangaj as he was not having good income source to continue with the treatment cost for Sangaj. 

But after explaining the whole eye problem by vision technician Sangaj father understand that it's necessary to go to CLGEI for further eye exam. After reaching to CLGEI during clinical examination his vision was counting finger close to face in both the eyes which was increasing to 20/160 in Right eye & 20/200 in Left eye with pinhole examination so, refraction was not done. After refractive correction his vision was 20/160 in RE, & 20/200 in LE. All other ocular examination was within normal limits. 

Based on the findings, he was diagnosed as a case of high myopia in both the eyes & advised for glasses. Glasses were given to Sangaj free of cost on the same day. Sangaj was given a book to read out & he was able to read the same easily. Mr. Sundar was surprised to see the drastic change in sangaj's behavior & smile on Sangaj's face. Snagaj said that now he can attend school regularly as he can see the books & blackboard. Mr. Sundar realized the reason behind his unwillingness to attend school. He was very happy to see the transformation in Sangaj's daily life.
